Lectures

Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics : Basics and Highlights
=============================================

In these three graduate student level lectures, we will discuss the essence of the physics and astrophysics of the neutrinos, the wide spectrum of research directions being pursued, and the conceptual principles of the various experiments. Highlights of the recent important results on neutrino oscillations will be presented.

Highlights of the TEXONO Research Program in Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics
==============================================================

The TEXONO Collaboration is conducting a research program in low energy neutrino physics, based mainly at the Kuo-Sheng Reactor Neutrino Laboratory in Taiwan. We have already achieved world-level sensitivity in the search of neutrino magnetic moments. Data are analysed with the aim of measuring the neutrino-electron cross-section, and an R&D project is being carried out towards the goal of making the first experimental observation of neutrino-nucleus coherent scattering, which may also evolve into a Dark Matter experiment. A wide spectrum of R&D program is being pursued in parallel. Our framework, status and plans will be presented.
