The High Energy Physics (HEP) Group is composed of 6 faculty members and 17 graduate students, both Masters and PhD candidates. The group is divided into two: Theoretical and experimental HEP groups.

The HEP group is currently collaborating with CMS, OPERA, Chorus and CLIC experiments. Some of the research topics are:

• Neutrino physics and mass oscillations at CERN accelerators.
• Gravitation, Cosmology, QFT, General Gravity, String Theory, Non Perturbative Methods
• Information theory, Open Quantum Systems, Entanglement
• Higgs production via VBF channel in CMS
• Black Holes in CMS
• Supersymmetry
• Hadronic Physics, Magnetic Moments, B Decays, Exotics

The experimental facilities include an emulsion scanning laboratory, a brand new local batch cluster (production farm).
